For the past 6 1/2 years Carla Catherwood of CMC Entertainment has been putting on For the Luv of It! Live Entertainment Showcases. And now since she is moving to Toronto this will be the LAST CLUB VERSION OF THE SHOW IN VANCOUVER!

However, do not be mistaken... For the Luv of It! will still be around, but only through fee community workshops and the theatre shows that CMC Entertainment produces once a year to help raise scholarships for aspiring entertainers to move fwd and ahead in their careers!

SVS STYLE will be one of the many talented performers sharing the stage at VENUE!

Grammy-nominated breakthrough singer-songwriter MELANIE FIONA will kick off an exciting new year tonight, January 12, on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! with a performance of “It Kills Me,” the scorching hot new single from her debut album The Bridge, out now on SRC/Title 9/Universal Motown Records.

“It Kills Me” (above video) has scored Fiona a Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and has been heating up the airwaves. The single hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hip-Hop/R&B Chart and has been embraced by both urban and urban AC radio formats, currently at No. 2 on the Mediabase Urban Published Chart and No. 6 on the Mediabase Urban AC Chart. The video ranked No. 28 on BET’s Top 100 Videos of 2009 television special and remains in heavy rotation on Centric and BET, which named Fiona their 2010 Artist to Watch.

MELANIE FIONA has also picked up an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding New Artist and she is confirmed to open 19 dates on Alicia Keys’ upcoming North American tour. Recently releasing his debut EP, “Now or Never,” and one of the founding father of the HONOR ROLL, this Bay-Area MC does it right by baking together a storm of songs with hip-hop, rock, electro influences.
